Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Gondia Dr.PDKV, Akola<\/strong>: As per directives from Director of Research and Director of Extension Education, Dr. PDKV, Akola Pre Kharif Kisan Mela was organized by KVK, Gondia on 09.06.2022 at village Banathar Tal: Gondia for giving awareness to the farmers about various varieties of Paddy and other crops including different recommended technologies to be adopted during Kharif season. <\/span><\/p>\n

The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Sanjay Sangekar District Coordination Officer MAVIM, Mr. D. L. Tumdam TAO, Gondia, Dr. Syed Shakir Ali PC, KVK, Gondia, <\/strong>Mr. Vijay Bahekar, Secretary, SGGVSS, Gondia.<\/strong> Mr. Gulab Nagdive, Sarpanch, Banathar, Mr. Shivlal Jamare, Panchayat Samati Member, Gondia, Mr. Phagulal Nagaphase Deputy Sarmanch Banathar, Mr. Naresh Harinkhade Circle Agril. Officer, Gondia <\/strong>and Public representative from  village Banathar Tal. Gondia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Gulab Nagdive Sarpanch, Banathar, Gondia<\/strong> requested the farmers to take the advantage of various technologies developed by Dr. PDKV, Akola through KVK, Gondia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Phagulal Nagaphase Deputy Sarmanch Banathar, Gondia <\/strong>highlighted various problems in different crops specially paddy and requested all the scientist and guest to provide solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Vijay Bahekar, Secretary, SGGVSS, Gondia, <\/strong>has given information about Mahatma Phule Farmers Producer Company and told the farmers to take the advantages of KVK, Gondia regarding various demonstrations and marketing of various produce.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Manoj Bhomte SMS( Agronomy)<\/strong> has given detail information about various Paddy varieties to be adopted during Kharif season and given method demonstration on Seed Treatment. Likewise, he has also given information about green manuring, land preparation and other technologies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. R. D. Chavan SMS (Entomology) <\/strong>have given details information about various pest and diseases in paddy and redgram, given special emphasis on nursery management in paddy and use of various pest monitoring devices, botanicals, bio pesticides and bio fertilizers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Vishal Ubarande SMS (Agril.Engg)<\/strong> had motivated the farmers about Farm Mechanization and given information about direct seeding\/transplanting by using various implement and machineries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Syed Shakir Ali PC, KVK,<\/strong> Gondia motivated the farmers about Crop diversification and motivated the farmers to Oilseeds in Rabi season so as to break the life cycle of different insect pest, He has given information about Mobile Soil Testing Van and requested the farmers to take the advantage of soil testing which will help them to understand fertilizer recommendations. He also motivated the farmers about Group Farming , Marketing and Mechanization in Agriculture by giving various example.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Sanjay Sangekar District Coordination Officer MAVIM, Gondia <\/strong> highlighted different schemes available with MAVIM and suggested the farmers to go for alternative crop.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. D. L. Tumdam TAO, Gondia<\/strong> guided the farmers about paddy cultivation and crop diversification including various scheme available with the department for farmers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. G. R Khedikar<\/strong> P.A.(Lab.Tech.) had given information about Soil testing, Soil Health Card and done anchoring and vote of thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

All KVK Staff had actively participated in the event and in all 101 Farmers\/ Farm Women  along with guest and public representative from Banathar village Tal: Gondia took part in the programme and made it great success.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
