A Seminar on Establishment of Farmers Producers Company for Fisheries under  National Bank For Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and in association with Shri Ganesh Gramin Vikas Shikshan Sanstha, Gondia and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Hiwara, Gondia was organized on 14\/09\/22  at Tulsi ITI Center, Amgaon, Dist Gondia. This FPC is established  to provide  the avantage to Fisherman from Gondia, Amgaon Saleksa, Goregaon and Deori talukas who are involved in fishery production and its  marketing.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The program was inaugurated by  Mr. Avinash Lad, District Development Manager, NABARD, Gondia, Mr. Vijay Shamrao Bahekar, Secretary, Shri. Ganesh Gramin Vikas Shikshan Sanstha, Gondia. Dr.Syed Shakir Ali Senior Scientist and Head Krishi Vigyan Kendra Gondia was the Chief Guest of the program, Mr. Shashank Shahare, Assistant Fisheries Development Officer, Gondia, Mr. Sanjay Shamrao Bahekar, Social Worker, Amgaon, Mr.Vinod Kagdi Meshram, Chairman, Fisheries Committee Kotra, Mr. K. T. Deshmukh, Sevarth Shetkari, Farmer Producer Company Deori, Mr.. Shamrao Mendhe, Social Worker, Amgaon,. Dr. Vijayakumar Kore, SMS (Horticulture), KVK, Hiwara, Gondia, Mr. Tukaram Bohare, Former Panchayat Samati Member, Saleksa, Mr. Ghanshyam Katre, Social Activist, Saleksa were present on dias.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr.Avinash Lad, DDM gave detailed guidance on what is the strength of unity. What is the role of the organization and NABARD in relation to the fish business company, the information about the technologies used in the world in the production of fishery and importance of the company. He also gave the information about the marketing of fish and plan of NABARD in his speech.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Shashank Shahare, guided about the various  scheme  available  with fishery department and suggested  the farmers to  take advantage of fish hatchery, production, storage, vehicle purchase and many subsidized schemes of the government.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Syed Shakir Ali, Senior Scientist and Head, KVK Gondia, said farmers should assume himself as a business man cum farmer. He also discussed relationships between farmers and businessmen, he gave complete  information  about Fisheries FPO and  creation of complementary business by using  Agriculture and Allied Sectors.He gave information by giving many examples about establishment of Fish Hatchery, Training, centre, Aqua One centre, Aquaphonics, Feed Meal Project, Production of various fishes, its storage, Marketing and complete value chain. He informed  the farmers how KVK is helping them for Crop Diversification of Oilseeds, Pulses and other crops and  how to overcome the difficulties faced by farmers and how to do complementary business, agriculture, and how to produce maximum crops with minimum inputs.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Shri. Shamrao Bahekar, Secretary, Shri GGVSS, Gondia described the work done on behalf of the institution. He also mentioned the role of farmers in increasing the country’s economy. He said that, the farmers should know the purpose and importance of Farmer Producer Company.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Former P.S.Member Shri Tukaram Bohare, said that organic farming should be used and benefits should be taken, vermicomposting should be used for agriculture.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. R. Deshmukh, Sevarth Shetkari Producer Company, Deori, gave his guidance that multipurpose agriculture should be adopted to increase productivity in agriculture by using fish farming or various uses instead of using only Indian crops.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The program was introduced by Mr.  Gajanan Aloni, anchoring  by Mrs. Shalu Kripale and vote of thanks was given by Nisha Kagdi Meshram. In all more than 200 farmers, farm women  including  officials  were present  during the Seminar. All the staff members of the organization worked hard for the success of the program.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
