Skill Based Training program for farmers on “Natural Farming ”  under ATMA was conducted at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Gondia.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The programme was conducted in collaboration with  Project Director ATMA Gondia and under the guidance of Taluka Agriculture Officer Tiroda, for farmers  from Tiroda Taluka.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

For this program Mr Balchandra Thakur Progressive Farmer,  Mr Vijay Bahikar Secretary SGGVSS, Gondia, Dr Syed Shakir Ali Senior Scientist and Head KVK Gondia,  Mr R D Chavan SMS (Ento), Mr. Vishal Ubarhande SMS (Agril. Engg)Dr. Vijayakumar Kore SMS ( Hort) G N Khedikar  Lab Tech ( Soil Science) Mrs Sushma Shivankar Taluka Technology Manager ATMA, Mr Umesh Sonawane Assistant Technology Manager ATMA, Mr. Lokchand P.  Rinait Agril.  Assistant Boda, Mr Arvind Upavanshi Assistant Technology Management ATMA were present.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Sonevane  give introductory remarks about the training.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr R D Chavan gave information about Natural  farming and its importance in Agriculture.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Ubarhande gave information about Mulching  and Mechanization while Mr Khedikar briefed about soil testing,  green  manuring etc.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Balchandra Thakur highlighted  about  the need of Natural Farming in present  situation by giving  various examples.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Bahekar shared  his experience  about FPC and crop diversification.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Syed Shakir Ali guided the farmers about Natural Farming, group farming, group registration, company formation, smart, agro-based industries, as well as Rabi crop.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition  to this Method Demonstrations on prepaaration of Dashparni Ark,  Jivamrut etc were shown to the farmers.  The trainees  had visited  all units of KVK viz. Natural Farming unit, Vermicompost unit,  Azolla unit, Nursery  , Nutrition Garden etc and taken  advantage  of it.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Anchoring was done by Mr. Umesh Sonwane, ATMA Tiroda and vote of thanks was given by Sushma Shivankar. More than 30 number of farmers, officials etc from Tiroda taluka attended and got benefited from the training.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
