As per the directives of Hon. Dr. Sharad Gadakh, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. PDKV, Akola, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Hiwara-Gondia had formed “Farmer-Scientist Forum” with the motto of transferring the recommended technologies of the University, other SAUs and Research Stations as per the needs and requirements of the farmers to increase production and productivity.

This forum having 47 members from eight (8) Talukas of district including Scientist of KVK, Gondia. The monthly meetings were conducted at different places of Gondia district and discussed on various topics as per need.
