 | Azolla Unit: Azolla is a floating fern. It is considered as supplementary feed for livestocks. It contains 25 to 30 % protein percentage highly rich in protein. Also contains vitamins & amino acids. Azolla as a supplementary feed for Cows. Buffalo, Goats & poultry also. Due to incorporation of azolla in the livestock feed. It partially replacement of concentrate because 60 to 70 % cost incurred on feeding for livestock. So it is economical feed for livestock. It enhanced the milk production in cows & buffalo.
