One day District Level Workshop under Crop Pest Surveillance and Advisory Project (CROPSAP) 2022-23 was organized by District Superintendent Agriculture Officer, Gondia in collaboration with KVK, Gondia on 20th July 2022 at Panchayat Samiti Hall, Jaystambh, Gondia.

The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Hindurao Chavan, DSAO, Gondia, Dr. Syed Shakir Ali , Senior Scientist & Head, KVK, Gondia, Mr. Mangesh Wavdhane SDAO, Gondia & Mr. D. L. Tumdam TAO, Gondia,

Mr. Hindurao Chavan, DSAO, Gondia has given introduction & brief information about the workshop and instructed all the participants to go for survey, data feeding of CROPSAP .In addition to this, he has taken review of all the projects & schemes implemented by DSAO, Gondia..

Dr. Syed Shakir Ali PC, KVK, Gondia during technical session had given information about Insect & Pest of various crop. In addition to this, he has given information on how to take ETL’s and management of different insect & pest by using IPM technology.

Mr. R. D. Chavan SMS (Entomology) have given details information about various pest and diseases in paddy and its management methods.

Mr. Mangesh Wavdhane SDAO, Gondia has presented various activities conducted by the department for managing pest of paddy in Gondia district.

Mr. D. L. Tumdam TAO, Gondia highlighted on various schemes to be implemented during 2022-23.

Mr. Digambar Thakare Agril. Supervisor highlighted different steps for conducting Farmers Field School (FFS) while, Mr. Jitendra Mendhe, Agril. Supervisor has given information about how to use CROPSAP app in field condition.

Vote of thanks was done by Mr. Pawan Meshram Agril Assistant Gondia. In all total 142 no. of participants including TAO, TO, Circle Officer, Agril. Supervisor, Agril Assistant & other technical person had participated in workshop.
