Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Hiwara- Gondia organised 17^th Farmer- Scientist Forum Meeting at Village Jagantola, Tal. & Dist. Gondia on 24 Sept. 2024. Subjects of the meeting were Crops Diversification and Planning of Rabi Season.

Inauguration of the program was done by Smt. Madhuri Nitesh Ramteke, Sarpancha, Gram Panchayat, Jagantola in presence of Mr. S.U. Waghmode, DDA, DSAO Office Gondia, Mr. Pawan Meshram, Taluka Agriculture Officer, Gondia, Mr. Vishal Ubarhande, Senior Scientist & Head, Dr. Vijaykumar Kore, SMS (Hort.), Mr. R.D. Chavhan, SMS (Ento.), Mr. M. V. Bhomate, SMS (Agronomy), Miss. Dipika Dahake, Agri. Asstt., Rajegaon, Miss. Yerne, Agri. Asstt., Mr. Vijaybhau Bahekar, Secretary, Ganesh Gramin Shikshan Sanstha, Amgaon, Mr. Sunil Khadse, BTM, ATMA, Gondia, Mr. Dilip Agrwal, Progressive Farmer, Salekasa, and Mr. Atmaram Pache, Progressive Farmer, Jagantola.

All the dignitories and Scientists from KVK guided the farmers on different topics during the meeting. Members of FSF also shared their experiences. After discussion, field visit also organised in paddy and okra field.

Anchoring and vote of thanks was given by Dr. Vijaykumar Kore, SMS (Horticulture). In all, 47 farmers, members of Farmer-Scientist Forum, Entrepreneurs, FPO members and officers of State Agriculture Department were present to made programme successful.
