As per the directives from Hon. DEE, Dr. PDKV, Akola for establishment of Model Village at district Gondia, conducted  PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) exercises in village Kindipar Tal: Gondia on 23.11.2022. As part of the programme. Dr. Vijaykumar Kore SMS (Hort) briefed about the objective of the PRA exercise followed by other SMSs. Mr. Manoj Bhomte SMS(Agro), Mr. V. P Ubarhande (SMS-Agril Engg.), Mr. R. D. Chavan  (Ento), Dr. Vijaykumar Kore SMS (Hort)  and Mr. G. R. Khedikar PA (Soil Lab) introduced themselves to the villagers and explained about their specializations.

Dr. Syed Shakir Ali, Senior Scientist and Head, KVK Gondia gave information about the purpose of PRA, he briefed about the working of KVK System and Dr. PDKV, Akola  for the benefit of farming community and addressed the gathering and encouraged the villagers to take active part in the event.

As part of the PRA exercise, Resource Map and Social Map were drew likewise Seasonal Calendar, Time line, Transact walk, Vain Diagram, besides prioritized the problems through Matrix ranking, and also conducted focused Group Discussion about the major issues in the village.

Mr. Hindurao Chavan, DSAO, Gondia gave information about the need of taking this village as focal village and how it can become model village, he suggested the farmers to take advantage of PRA and to give detail information so that maximum schemes of state Agril. Dept can be given to the farmers.

Dr.Mrs. P. S. Patil Livestock Supervisor gave information about various scheme available with District Animal Husbandry dept. and suggested the SHG women to give more information in PRA so that they can be benefitted

Mr. R. T. Pawar, Circle officer TAO, Gondia helped the farmers for transact walk and problem prioritization while Mr. Turkar Agril Assistant monitor about the various activities conducted by SHG and Farm Women and noted the information.

In addition to this Mr R. D Pathurde, Mr Vishal Karne nd Mr. D. V. Gahane  from KVK took part in the PRA exercise mean while  Panchayat Samati Member, Sarpanch, Deputy Sarpanch, heads and leaders, Anganwadi and Asha workers along with more than 68 villagers officials Farm Women  and farmers took active part in the exercise.
