Awareness Program on  ‘Natural Farming’.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Hiwara, Gondia, Dr. PDKV, Akola: KVK, Hiwara, Gondia organized a One Day Awareness program cum Workshop on “Natural Framing” at village  Sakhritola of Salekasa Tahsil.

The programme was inaugurated by Mr Sanjay Ahirawar State Head- Maharashtra

TAFE-(Custom Hiring-JFarm Services), Mr Suresh Bohare  Progressive Farmer and Natural Farming expert in presence of  Dr. Syed Shakir Ali, Senior Scientist and Head, KVK, Gondia and Mr. Ganesh Khedikar PA ( Soil Lab)  Mr S R Pustode from ATMA and other dignitaries. 

This program  was specially  organized  for FPC share holders of Ujwal Kisan Agrotech Farmer Producer Company Ltd, Sakhritola Tal Salekasa and Students studying in Ashram School.

Introductory remarks was given by Mr Deoram Chute Chairmam of UKAFPC Ltd.

Mr. Sanjay highlighted about FPO/ FPC’s and its working for the benefit  of farming community and  suggested  the farmers  to go for Custom Hiring Centers and Natural Farming.

Dr. Syed Shakir Ali, Senior Scientist and Head welcomed all the guest and guided the farmers and students about natural farming, its importance and benefit obtained after adopting natural farming. He also guided about preparation and use of Dashparni ark, Jivamrut, etc. He requested the farmers to adopt various technologies developed by authorized  sources for increasing productivity and focused on how to increase the area and production of horticultural crops.

Mr. Suresh Bohare Progressive Farmer and master trainer on Natural Farming  narrated the use and importance of organic farming, use of dashparni ark, jivamrut, bijamrut, vermi wash, poultry, dairy and goat farming etc.

Mr.S R Pustode from ATMA

guided the farmers about preparation of vermi compost for home scale as well as commercial basis and how to take profit from the same.

Anchoring was done by Mr Deoram Chute and vote of thanks was given by Shri. Ganesh Khedikar, Laboratory Technician, KVK, Hiwara, Gondia

In all, 63 FPC share holders, farmers,  students, dignitaries and officials actively participated in the program.
