Hon’ble, Dr. Sharad R. Gadakh Sir, Vice Chancellor and Hon. Dr.Vilas Kharche. Director of Research Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola visited KVK Gondia and ATS, Hiwara. During visit, they reviewed the activities conducted by KVK and ATS and visited Farm and different demonstration units viz Vermicompost unit Azolla unit, Nursery, Natural Farming unit, Nutrition Garden, Animal shed etc. He also visited all the infrastructure available with ATS and KVK.
An Oil Expeller Unit was inaugurated by Hon. Vice Chancellor which was established under SCSP of ICAR-IIOR, Hyderabad.After visiting all the units and infrastructure he reviewed all the activities.
Dr Syed Shakir Ali Senior Scientist and Head presented the Progress as well as Initiatives taken for making KVK Gondia visible, while Mr. Manoj Bhomte Incharge Principal presented about progress of ATS,
Hon VC sir and Hon. DOR sir had interaction with all the staff of KVK and ATS. Honorable Vice Chancellor encouraged and guided the KVK and ATS staff for up gradation of KVK and ATS activities for the betterment of farming community.
Mr Mahindra Thakur Chairman, Farmers Scientist Forum, Gondia, Mr. Santosh Bisen First Farmer Idol along with all staff of KVK and ATS were present. Vote of thanks was given by Mr. Ganesh Khedikar P.A. (Lab) and Anchoring was done by Dr. Vijaykumar Kore SMS (Horti).
