As per the invitation received from DSAO, Office, Gondia, Scientists from Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Hiwara-Gondia participated in Pre-Season Kharif Planning meeting at DPC Hall, Collector Office, Gondia on 08.05.2023 under the Chairmanship of Mr. Sudhirji Mungantiwar, Guardian Minister, Gondia district.

Meeting was held in presence of Mr. Sunilji Mendhe, MP Gondia- Bhandara constituency, Mr. Ashokji Nete, MP, Gadchiroli-Chimur Constituency, Mr. Vinodji Agrawal, MLA, Gondia, Mr. Chandrikapureji MLA Arjuni Morgaon. Mr Vijayji Rahangdale MLA, Tiroda, Mr. Pankajji Rahangdale, Chairman, ZP, Gondia, Mr. Chinmayji Gotmare, IAS, District Collector & Magistrate, Gondia, Mr. Anilji Patil, CEO, Gondia, Mr. Nikhil ji Pingle, SP, Gondia, Mr. Hindurao Chauvan, DSAO, Gondia, Mr. DL Tumdam, SDAO, Gondia.

From KVK, Gondia, Dr. Syed Shakr Ali, Senior Scientist and Head, KVK, Gondia and Dr. Vijaykumar Kore, SMS, Horticulture were present.

Along with this, members of ZP, Panchayat Samiti and other departments and farmers from all over the district were present. In all, more than 150 farmers, officials were present.

After Kharif Planning meeting Soil Health Campaign an initiative of KVK, Gondia was started by showing flag by Hon. Sunilji Mendhe, MP in presence of Hon. Mr. Sudhirji Mungantiwar, Guardian Minister, Gondia district and all MPs, MLA and other dignitaries.

KVK Gondia will be providing Soil testing facilities to farmers and also providing Soil health cards.
